Adult students who would prefer to enter a Clâsse whereby they can choose their own piece, may like to refer to Le Don Balleine publication Eune Pouch'tée d'Poésies, which is available from La Société Jersiaise Bookshop.
The book contains a selection of Jèrriais poetry by various Jersey writers with accompanying English translations. Shorter, simpler poems are printed at the beginning of the book and they increase in difficulty and complexity throughout. This useful aid aims to help students choose pieces that are suited to their current level of learning.
